Handsome Brook Farm Bed and Breakfast Website

Congratulations Betsy and Bryan – the new baby has arrived!

We were over the moon when the kids at Handsome Brook Farm asked us to “freshen up” their website that we did way back in 2006. Well, the site has been launched today and it is more than freshened up. Betsy and Bryan are a true pleasure to work with and we always have a lot of fun and, together, we come up with some pretty great stuff for all their endeavors: a working farm; fresh preserves, butters, and syrups; a fabulous Bed and Breakfast; and whatever the heck they come up with next.

We are so grateful to work with Handsome Brook Farm and they are welcomed, long-term members of the CMS family.

Take a few minutes and take a look and the new site. We, and they, think it is just the right branding for the Farm and for them.

CMS Internet Solutions is far more than a web-design firm. Over the past year they have become a part of both our business, and our family. We first began working with CMS a year ago, when we had an idea of opening up a bed and breakfast, and knew that we would need a web page. Sue and Craig did far more than design a website, they helped us clarify our business strategy and our business image and incorporated that vision into the website’s design. The vision they captured expressed who we are and what we do far better than we could have articulated on our own. The result was a website that was not only functional but beautiful and effective. Our guests continually comment on how they were drawn to stay with us because of the website. In addition, the professionalism of the website design and the content that was contained in it contributed to our Bed and Breakfast being featured in March 2009 on Good Morning America.

Since then, we have expanded our business to include U-Pick and Wholesale berries, and a full line of preserves and syrups that are sold at New York grocery and gift stores. CMS has been our media design partner for this process as well. They developed our business card design, created our display signage for the grocery stores, and designed the exterior sign for our Bed and Breakfast.

Last, but definitely not least, Sue and Craig worked with us to design 18 different labels for our preserve products and syrups, and labels for our fresh berry packaging. She was exceedingly patient as we worked through this process, and developed a label with a barn wood background that has become our company’s signature look. Once the design was done, she worked with our label manufacturer to insure that the design was executed properly. I am confident that the professionalism of the label design contributed significantly to the Hannaford grocery chain’s interest in expanding our preserves from one store to stores throughout New York.

We cannot say enough good things about CMS Internet Solutions. They should be called CMS Everything Solutions, as they are there for us and with us every step of the way.
