Yes, you read the headline correctly. The Hidden Inn is re-opening! To anyone in the South Kortright area, or heck, Delaware County, this is long awaited news.
Our beloved Hidden Inn closed some time ago and sat empty. A huge loss for the community as so many people, many generations, folks from near and far, hold fond memories of good times shared at the Hidden Inn. Weddings, Reunions, Anniversary Celebrations, local club meetings, or just a great time with friends. Folks were buzzing everywhere. Will it re-open? Who will buy it? Will it be torn down?
Now we have our answer; Yes! it will re-open, the restaurant and tavern are coming back! The beautiful gem of South Kortright is undergoing extensive renovations inside and out and she is looking good! Structural repairs, fresh paint, all brand-new kitchen, re-finished hardwood floors and the original wood paneling, long- hidden windows and woodwork, new patios for outdoor cocktails and dining, and brand new landscaping are just the beginning.
The Hidden Inn is scheduled for a Summer 2011 opening and a new website has been launched. If you are looking for the perfect place for a Special Event, the Hidden Inn is ready to make your day memorable. And soon we will all have our favorite gathering spot back, welcoming us with good food, cold drinks, and enthusiastic hosts.
On a personal level, we just can’t wait. On a professional level, CMS is very excited to be given the opportunity to work with the Hidden Inn to to tell the world “Hidden Inn is Open for Business!”
